Ivor Chaplin the scorer for Brentham Cricket Club has set record after record, not only in the number of games that he has scored at but also CONSECUTIVELY. He has not missed one game in all that time.
He joined the Club in 1964 and for the next three years scored for the 2nd XI. He was promoted to the 1st XI in 1967 and has thus been ever-present for 50 years.
In 2014 he completed 700 consecutive League matches (all the League matches that had been played up to that date) at which point the Score Box was named after him and marked with a suitable plaque.
