Alison Delaney presented with OSCA at Lord's
Our very own Alison Delaney was presented with her OSCA on the hallowed Lord's turf during the Vitality Blast match against Hampshire on 22 August.
Sponsored by Lexus Edgware Road, the NatWest OSCAs aim to reward the contribution that volunteers make to the game. Alison's nomination came in the Heartbeat of the Club category which is described as:
The special volunteer that your club simply couldn’t do without, often the roles they carry out are behind the scenes. They often undertake a number of different roles, and are always there to lend a hand.

That description couldn't be more fitting for Alison, pictured above with Middlesex President Mike Selvey and Director of Participation, Katie Berry on the day, who has been working tirelessly off the field for approaching two decades. As well as fulfilling the role of Honorary Secretary, Alison has helped raised thousands of pounds for the Club organising Quiz Nights, Race Nights, the weekly Bonus Ball draw, and our Annual Dinner.
In 2004, Alison won the Club Person of the Year Award before being made a Life-Vice President in 2014.
