Graham Gooch delights at Annual Dinner

It was another fantastic evening on Friday as Graham Gooch entertained the guests at the Annual Brentham Cricket Club dinner.

The former England test captain told stories from his 22-year career playing with, and against, the greats of the game.

He spoke about facing the fearsome West Indian fast-bowling attack of the 1980s, being at the non-striker's end for Shane Warne's 'ball of the century', and his time working as a Batting Coach with England's Ashes' winning side of 2010/11.

Our thanks go to Graham, and all our speakers on the night. Max Lovelock was the MC for the evening with Ram Sethi from Southall CC proposing the club and Matthew Plews responding on behalf of Brentham CC.
